EVPSN2 - From Co-operation to Integration

The European Vehicle Passive Safety Network 2 was the successor of the PSN1 started in 1998. EVPSN2 was finished end January 2004 and was then transfomed into the current Network of Excellence APSN.

In short, EVPSN2 can be summarised as follows:

  • Clustering of Community and national funded projects.
  • Establish networking activities to accelerate dissemination for a strengthened foundation for harmonised pan-European road safety regulations and to transfer design methodologies and technologies to increase passenger survivability from the automobile area to aircraft, and railways, and vice versa.
